I got the Metzcal program and I can't figure out how to open the mzl files.

1.2 Green Anoles
0.1 Hooded Rat
0.1 Outside Cat

I Have played around with this program for a couple of years. It is an awsome program that had great potential. All the Data packs were awsome. Then they upgraded to version 2.1.0 and when they did this they changed the file extensions accepted by the program so the new version does not accept the old data pack. I actually email the Programmer about this and how to fix it about 8 or 9 months ago. He did reply back to me that he was going to convert all of the data packs to the new type of file so the new version of metzcal would be able to open them and that it would be done and posted on the website in less than 2 weeks. Like I said that was atleast 8 or 9 months ago and still nothing has changed I emailed him several times since and have not recieved any more responses back.
I did have a copy of the old version saved some where but have since lost it. I wish I had not I would just un-install the new version and use the old one. If anyone else out there has a copy of the old version I would love to get it from you just send me a message.
As for making the data pack work in the library of the new version that will just have to wait until the Programmer gets around to it. Or some other tech out there decides to break the code and convert the files for everyone to use again.
