And they had some tortoises out in the sun, including a gopher tortoise we saw in the distance, but one of the zoo-keepers brought this hingeback over to us

(well, they did bring the tortoise over to us, but I forgot the photo was of it in the grass near us.)
This last one is not chelonian-related, but I love it. This is the first time feeding a giraffe - I was surprised at how slippery the tongue was
