Looking Good!

My new pair of Cubans should be here next week if the weather cooperates!

What kind of lights do you run inside here?

huckandtuck Oct 13, 2007 03:01 AM

cool, are you buying them from david blaire? i just use a 24inch UV tube light across the tops of my cages, along with some 100 - 150 watt uv lights for basking.

Yeah. He seems to have the best prices and the best stock. My only concern is this week's weather here and UPS. They can be real hit and miss where I'm at but if they bring me a box of dead animals I'll end up dismembering somebody.

Amen brother!
I think he uses Fed-Ex now though. I'm waiting on my little Blue next week too. At least yours are yearlings, mine is not even a month old yet. I'm buggin just a little bit,$371 including shipping and I don't want it to be too cold and get sick or something you know? Problem is,it's not getting warmer this time of year in Utah.
Well,good luck to us all.

Good luck to you on your new baby!

I considered getting some Lewisi hybrids or even the Caymanensis, but decided I'd rather go with Cubans to start. Can't beat the price either.

I'm just hoping UPS doesn't turn this into a poochscrew and the weather's not too bad...like Utah, Nevada's not getting any warmer, either.

I hope mine look as good as Tucker does in a year or two!
