Be open minded for a minute. Instead of immediately saying "NO", think of how to make it work.

Just wondering if there was a possible way to work that out. I guess it would have to be a large enough set up with varying temps and hidey holes for the uros.

I have a baby Sulcata and want to get a uromastyx. Just trying to think about housing and whether or not they could share.

They do have similar needs, tho the uro needs a hotter basking site. They have slightly different diets. What else?

I know diddly about Sulcatas. But in keeping an open mind, my first two thoughts are for space and parasites. I would be concerned for cross-contamination of parasites harmless to one that might be damaging to the other. And I'd recommend a room-sized enclosure with many many basking, hiding, and feeding areas.

Actually, I wouldn't recommend it at all, but this is the open mind talking.

Thanks, Torey. Some good points about parasites. This would only be while the sulcata is little and kept indoors.

In all open minded fairness, doesn't your first sentence suggest you already know the silliness of the idea even in your own head?
