I was wondering if anyone would notice 7, yeah I'm keeping that one. And as always, her pics do not do her justice. As I was reviewing the post I could see the pics didn't show her off very well. Looks like I need new pics for her!!!! OI guess that makes me the "lucky son........."

I've said it before and I'll say it again, you can come accross great animals for sale but if you want the absolute cream of the cream of the crop, ya gotta produce them. aka, own the whole crop at one point and sell off all but the cream of the cream!!!

Railrider1920 Oct 12, 2007 11:35 PM

Man Dave, they are all awsome looking. I'd have a hard timer choosing just one.

7 and 10 seem lighter in color. Are they really lighter? Babies like this, do they get darker? Or do they stay a little lighter than their brothers and sisters?

That's a hard one to answer. They are all different and ones that are lighter as babies tend to be lighter as adults. They all color up at different rates. I think both of those have the capability of being extremely nice light orange animals. Only time will tell for certain.

I got her from Prehistoric Pets that is well known for retics yes, boas no. They usually get trade ins and prolly a couple here and there but no big wholesale litters I believe. The manager over there is Patrick Powers if you don't know and the article read the reddest boa I had ever seen and the camera doesn't do her justice. So after contemplation for awhile (about one week or so) no one grabbed her so I was shocked but decided to throw an offer up and they took it and I took her and we have been happy ever since She was produced by Patrick's friend close to the shop but I have yet to get his or her name even after numerous responses but I believe this is because someone else is getting the e-mail first that bastard DL but was born in early June but was first said to be early Aug. but then changed it but this was the other guy that changed it so I think he don't like me That's all I know and was also told that the parents were just as red as her but there is no telling but if they cooperate with me then I will be able to shed some more light on her lineage but definately trying to mate one time with a red albino from the lipstick line to produce one or two absolutely stunning double hets for keepers and then some supers salmons or prolly a jungles or a hypo motley and then some super hypo motleys which is the most anticipated pairing I can hope for

Interesting story. How could anyone not like you, though?!

Sounds like you got a great deal on a fantastic snake, so
I guess that's by far the most important thing.

You pretty much lost me there with all the morph/pattern combinations and permutations, but maybe my brain is still cluttered with carotenoids.
