This is Boopy!

Forgive me for going into detail before I present this problem as I figure, just like a human being, his past and previous health conditions can say a lot about him.
He's about 10 years old and very docile. He was bred from captive parents and raised in captivity.
Last night, I went to feed him. I have been feeding him a little more so he can bulk up for his winter inactive cycle - he does not hibernate completely, but in all these years, he has never shown an adverse reaction to being in only a quasi-hibernative state.
As I was feeding him, I noticed a bulge near his cloaca.
I thought nothing as I presumed he was getting ready to excrete.
However, just before I went to bed, I realized that he had not eaten in a week, and the last time he did, I was certain I saw the excrement from said meal.
So I went to bed telling myself that I would wait a day to see if he did indeed excrete again.
When I got home from work tonight, I noticed the bulge was still there and there was no sign of scat in his habitat. More so, I noticed that it is larger on one side than the other. This is not normal. Never have I seen anything like this on one of my pets.

The large meal he had just last night is now working its way through his tract. I fear that this may complicate matters, as it is possible this growth may prevent him from properly excreting, and thus KILL him. That's assuming it's not a different kind of terminal problem altogether.
So I need to act fast. I called several clinics in my area with an in-house Herps, but they all close before I get home from work, and their voice mail informs me they are not open tomorrow.
I'm still trying to track some one down, but I need to know if there's anything I can do or should do in the meantime. I need to know if this is more or less serious than my reaction suggests.
Naturally, I'm being overly cautious, but better to err on the side of caution, right?
OK... back to the phone trying to get a hold of some one.
Thanks in advance.
