ROUSSIS REPTILES Oct 13, 2007 09:18 AM

Just found this wedding day surprise in the incubator, and I do mean surprise, its a Het Pied bred to non white snake related males.

Off to the church, gave a good day!

Het Pied X Fire??

Also, is that a Fire SuperPastel in the latest photo in your Kingsnake Gallery?

Whatever it is, it glows...

Congrats on another exciting 'piebald-involved' clutch.
Your name is the first to come to mind when I think PieBald combos/crosses.

.......your snakes?? HaHa
I don't want to laugh too much though. I'm sure there are at least a few guys here who are being pressured to get rid of their snakes after getting married. And probably a few who are not getting married just for that reason.

Anyway, Congrats!!!
So, does your wife enjoy snakes??........and don't say "well, she sure did on the honeymoon"

LOL

My wife is cool as long as I dont put them anywhere near her.

I can understand where some women (and men too) are terrified of snakes, and no amount of education is gonna change this.

Can you imagine if you were simply terrified of something that was not really a neccessity and your significant other wanted you to live with 20 or 50 or 100 of this thing? You would be like what? Are you crazy... This is how some people feel.

Maybe you can store your snakes in the basement, or another room in the house where she wont have to see them. Outta sight-right? Another thing, maybe you should show her how you lock them (use an empty rack) and that there is no way for them to get out. You can even use an extra bungee cord down the front to be extra safe and make her feel more secure about the whole thing. Also, there is really no reason she has to know how many snakes you really have? If she thinks its 8-10 and you really have 32, who is really gonna know but you?

Good luck.

It does go both ways. My husband doesn't get my hobby whatsoever and gets ticked off every time I buy something new. He doesn't see the point and there have been multiple arguments about me getting rid of them or stopping. Plus my parents come over and think it's absolutely ridiculous and pointless.

But in all fairness, I think his armwrestling hobby is the dumbest thing I've ever heard of...LOL!

wow...I really had no idea arm-wrestling could be a hobby.....but a lot of people don't know that snakes can be a hobby...lol I guess I'm just like them in a way...but yeah my wife is the same way...she's not too scared anymore after I make her hold stuff when I'm cleaning racks and things but she gets pretty mad when I buy things, but its amazing how happy she gets when I sell something...imagine that, but to het the money is already spent when I tell her its up for sale (then when it doesn't sell right away she goes into a mental financial crisis...its hilarious)
