I just bought a juvie egyptian uro at the Daytona expo, and he is an aggressive feeder. When he sees me he gets scared, he is not fully settled in yet, but excited at the same time. He will beg for food standing on it's hind legs and jumping at me. He has nipped me a couple of times already. I personaly like this behavior, but my question is, is this normal? It is my firt egyptian, I have had a mali before. And also how much insect matter should I give it. I know it should be minimal, but exactly how many superworms, crickets, ext. should I supplement. I know it will just keep eating as many as I give it, but I don't want to jeopardize it's health.
