Those are some really nice snakes. The last time I went to Tinley Park the corn snake selection was outstanding. You'll find that gopher snakes have a bit more "personality" than most corns - I really like them. Here's one I caught in Las Vegas last year.

And for the newbies, Tinley Park would be.....?

Tinley park was the NARBC (North American Reptile Breeders Conference, I think) show in Chicago this Saturday and Sunday.

Last year I came away from Tinley Park thinking they may want to rename it the Ball Python Breeders Convention But this year there seemed to be some let up in the ball python craze - not much mind you, but a little.

Some new(er) herps and a few seasoned breeders managing to ignore the ball python pyramid scheme. Gives one hope...

Beautiful snakes!! I love baby snakes, it's so fun to watch them grow. Really like that Okeetee, great color and markings. And of course the bloodred will be spectacular. I have yet to fully appreciate the Anery's, though that will probably come soon.

Hey, those babies look kinda familiar! Haha, how are the new additions settling in, anyway?

All of them spectacularly, except for that gopher snake...
She's tagged Jess and I both, and just sits in her cage striking at the wall with no one anywhere near her. I think we're probably going to move her up to Jess's closet where she'll be extremely low traffic, and keep her for about a month before we give her to Jess's sister, to see if we can get her to calm down a little...

We'll see!
