Albino x Albino genetic question

cv Oct 14, 2007 07:37 AM

I've read/known about the Kahl strain eye problem. My question is do all K. albinos carry this defective gene? Obviously there has been albino x albino breedings but how many produce visual or known deformities? Were the siblings a result of in-breeding or line-breeding. Have there been succesful in-bred albino clutches w/o eye problems? What are the numbers?

If you don't want the world to see your results you could PM me or explain the risks.

Thanks, Chris

As far as I know, numbers are scarce. And as far as I know, it is still just a guess that the problem is genetic.
