YellowBelly/Ivory Question

kthulhu Oct 14, 2007 01:34 PM

I know yellow bellies are supposed to have a hidden gene and can be used to make super stripes and ebonies...I was wondering if these guys can and are usually combined with anything else. Similarly, has anyone done any designers with the ivorys, other than the pastel ivory. I was just wondering if anyone tried mixing this in with other morphs, like a super cinny ivory, if that would even be possible? I ask this because i recently bought an imported female that looks like she might be a yellow belly and was wondering what these guys go good with...i'll try to post some pics as soon as i get a chance. Thanx

YB's Have been crossed with

Lessers, Cinny's, pastels, phantoms, spiders, womas, albino's, pinstripes, black pastels and a few others. Most of the cross' are still infant projects but you should see the double dom projects start to show up in the next couple of seasons.

I bought this girl as a captive hatched unproven vanilla. I'm not too familiar with vanillas/thunders but I kinda doubt she is one. She has a very clear belly and some good colors and that mickey mouse lookin faded spot on her head (head shot isnt that great) and I was thinking she migh be a yellow belly? Either way, i didnt pay that much for her, so I still get a nice lookin female out of the deal so I really cant complain, though hopefully she is something

that is 100% not a vanilla. whoever even sold it as an unproven vanilla was purposefully lying to you. It isn't even close.

that's not the point. when shady dealers advertise like that it makes the morph itself look shady when it reality it is a very nice morph with a killer super and awesome combos. I really just can't wait for those type of wholesale businesses to get out and let those of us who are honest spread these awesome snakes to the public.
