I will be giving a guest lecture on "Pine Snakes" TONIGHT Monday 10/15. The Metropolitan Herpetological Society is sponsoring this free event, and it will be held at :

Blue Heron Park Nature Center
222 Poillon Avenue
Staten Island, N.Y.

The meeting starts at 7pm, and with a decent amount of audience participation, this should be an hour long presentation. I will be covering natural history, habits, species, conservation, and beginner-advanced care and breeding. I will have live examples there as well.

Glad to hear the talk went well. I did a Pine Snake talk in the Boston area this past June, it too was well received. In a way, I'm surprised at how little people know about these animals, and in another way, I'm not surprised at all. Keep up the good work AC, we need more people like you. Did you touch on nomenclature? (You could probably do a talk just on that alone! LOL).
