Monitor Breeding age?

snakeball Oct 15, 2007 10:53 AM

When is a monitor too old to breed anymore? if ever. Is the prime breeding age different for males and females? Specifically BT's.

No facts here, but just theories to consider...

My guess (if that means ANYTHING)is that a monitor, like anything else, probably has its limits to breeding.

Although I wouldnt go by age, but rather strength and health to determine if your animal is too old to breed.

On the other hand, in the wild, they may just breed right up until they die. After all, monitors have been around for millions of years for a reason.
