Humidity gauge

I have a vision cage and stuck the gauge on the lip that comes in (on the back)on the cage. Is this to high. Should I have it lower?

I dont have a vision so Im not sure where you are talking about. But, it shouldnt matter to much because the humitity will be at a fairly constant level through the entire cage. Temps should be the only one where placement will give you different readings.
