How does pricing at reptile shows for ball pythons compare to buying online from kingsnake classifieds and the like? Thanks in advance!

I think they are usually priced about the same or maybe a little lower than they are on online. The biggest difference for me at least is that it is easier to make offers at shows when talking face to face than it is online.

Bring CASH!!! thats the language the breeders know best! LOL! you are more likely to get a very good deal with cash and in person at a show....for example.....i got a real nice albino female..sub-adult at a show for $800...07 babies are that much..she is a rat hound too...i got her at 500 plus grams...3 months later....around 900 grams....yes...bring cash

I did negotiate for one and I paid with a credit card. After looking around the booths, the one we wanted had a $500 price difference from high to low. The one we wanted was on the high side and we asked him to come down a couple hundred and he did. I saw a lot of those more expensive ones left on the second day, so who knows if they sold?

My 11 year old son who instantly fell in love with the snake, was giving the guy that sad puppy dog eye look, which probably helped.

depends where you are and what you want...and as said.there could be a big difference even at the show from table to table..

at daytona this year some were selling mojave's for 300 and i seen an albino go for 350 on sunday about 2 hours before the show ended. it all depends on how much competition is at the show and what quality your looking at. a high white pied can usually bring in more cash that a really low white one but if the tables on both sides both have high whites one table will probally lower their prices in order to directly compete.
