Some, but not many. I think the most I saw was some bullsnakes, and a couple black pines. I bought a couple pine snakes, but the only reason those where there was because I arranged a deal with someone before the show.
It was not a good weekend for Pits. I went looking for leucistic rats and a Northern Pine. I did not see any northern pines, I just saw a few bulls, a couple Louisianna Pines and a couple of black pinesnakes.

note to self... hold BACK a couple Northern Pines for Tinley... I delivered a pair of Northern Pines to Tinley and got them handed off right away. I should have just left them on the table the first day just to show them off. They were a SWEET pair! What I recall of pits, was some albino southern and northern cross pines, saw some black pines, some fantastic jani, some bulls...but overall pits certainly weren't in any big numbers! But the show was fun!
Picked up a male Northern Pine on my way home when I stopped by the famous breeder, John Meltzer. I hesitated a little, but seeing his daddy really sealed it for me. I'll get pics up soon!
I guess I missed most of them. Did Jim have any females and do you have contact information?
Thanks,
Miller

I picked a pair of jani's at Tinley for a great price! The breeder I bought them from had pics of the parents and they were smokin!! I too was a little disappointed in the lack of pits. I guess I will have to set up a table next year!

A quote I find myself using everytime someone finds out I have snakes.
Yeah, I think they should call it the Ball Python Breeder Conference and Trade Show, because that's what seems to be the majority there.
We looked high and low for an albino gopher, and almost gave up before we found one. Good deal, though... she's smokin!
Overall, though... there really wasn't much there. I think I only counted two tables with pits...

You had to look very closely for the pits, but there were a few there. Two tables with very nice Jani. One table with Albino and het San Diegos. I found one male Northern Pine, but he was a little too thin for my liking and didn't have the best color either. There were three hatchling vertebralis, all males. The black pines and albino and snow bulls mentioned earlier as well as the albino northern and southern pine crosses. One pair of Louisian Pines could be had for $875. I went looking for a female Sonoran gopher and couldn't find one. I am kicking myself for not picking up a female black pine for $100 and an albino and het pair of San Diego gophers for only $80 for the pair. Oh well.
Take care,
