newbie breeder think i messed up

I started cycling my females sept 1st.Have ran two males through there.At the end of each week i would switch males.Breeding has only been going on for 6weeks.Well my male yb stopped breeding her today. And i found THE LUMP.Is this ovulation too soon for me to get a viable clutch of eggs.

Is it a lump, or is the whole lower part of her body swollen.

It looks like she swallowed a small football.Takes up about a foot of her lower body.Is the ovulation too soon?

No you should be good. You can stop breeding her now. Once they ovulate the eggs cant get fetilized anymore.

after ovulation, make sure your temps are back up to normal. eggs don't develop nearly as well in lower temps. that's about the only potential problem i can think of. good luck, the rest is fun. kd

Hey, I know I95 East is a small road and all, but are you in the North East? I am in Connecticut...where are you?
