I don't know what you consider affordable. I use the ESU Reptile/Coralife timer. It has 2 day outlets, 2 night outlets and 4 outlets that are on all the time.
For a bearded dragon or all my day basking lizards, I just use a standard heavy duty indoor timer you can get at any home hardware or department store. It only has one three prong outlet with a dial type timer face. I plug a power bar into it, which has my UVB and Basking light plugged into it. This way the lights go off at the same time and come on at the same time.
There is a two prong version but I like the extra security of the three prong. The third prong is a ground wire, which helps protects against surges etc.
I pay about $10-$15 Canadian for one of these, depending where I go and if its on sale. The two prong ones are cheaper but I don't use them.
The brand I use is called Intermatic....here is a link to what I use.
