I have 3 adult bearded dragons that i would like to put sand in there cage but i want to know what is the best cause i dont want them to get impacted or anything and then them die, thanks!

I use childrens play sand I get from Toys R Us for all my dragons over 12" long.

i am putting it in my males sandfire beardies cage he is 22" long so he should be fine.

Personally I think the best sand for bearded dragons is not to use it at all. If you really do want sand, then washed children's playsand works.

I use paper towel and plastic table cloth as substrate for my dragons.

For babies I use just paper towel (just plain white ones)

For adults I use both. Basically I put one layer of paper towel than over top a layer of plastic table cloth and tape it down along the edges and seam. The plastic makes it easy to spot clean and the paper towel underneath absorbs any leakage. Once a month I replace the plastic and paper towel and clean up the cage.

To help with nail wear I usually put in slate tiles or large wide rocks.

i always use sand same brand special for pigneon it not dust and its heated 350 degree.
some times i put flagstones flat on bottom and cover the whole cage with it.
then i only put some sand between the rocks .
thats works goed to .
