Guyana Rainbow babies!!!

jazzmachine Oct 15, 2007 11:56 PM

Well on Saturday we finally had the mom give birth to a great and large litter of 12 huge healthy babies. After a lot of very wide open information found, we really could not pin-point a lay time for her. We actually thought if she was carrying it would have been about 3 weeks ago. And weighing her thruout, she really did not gain that much weight at all. Shed like normal, and just went off food about 2-3 weeks ago. So after just over 6 months gestation period we got these guys. Hope you enjoy the pics, we enjoyed wathing them...

Thanks everybody for the congrats. They have finally started to reveal their "true" personalities. And here I thought we got lucky and all the babies were calm as can be. Now I have a bin of 12 heads all jumping at me simultaneously.

Kevin

p.s. How do you check your PM's?

run26neys Oct 16, 2007 10:14 AM

It should go directly to the email that is on your KS profile. It may go to the bulk or spam folder so be sure to check that. If you do not get the message click on Jeff's name and send him a message.

Reminds me of a litter of 2005 BRB's, I had to put a bunch in a tub while I got their individual cages ready. When I opened the tub it was like a gun battery with automatic radar tracking, all heads were up and following every movement of my hand.

Congratulations, and thanks for sharing. While looking at BRB's never really get's old, it's really nice to see another sub-species!

Good luck w/ them.
