my cousin just bought a baby ball it gets this white powder on it.it goes away when it sheds and then it comes back.
i cant think of anythingit could be, and i really hope its not mites, because if it is ill have to treat my collection too

Are you sure it is not urates? It could be moving over its urates and it is getting stuck between it's scales. It can be kinda chalky looking.
thats one of the things i told him it could be, i just cant figure out how it ends up all over the snake

They slither throught it a lot. Urates break up easily into a very fine chalky powder.
Someone on here called it "Poo Painting" which is the perfect description. LOL!
