2007 Tinley Park, Illinois NARBC Show

wetceal Oct 16, 2007 06:53 PM

This was one of THE best Tinley Park shows yet! We had a fantastic time! We had a couple of really good friends helping us out at our tables this year and can't thank them enough for everything they did - Thanks again Wil and Vincent!

We thoroughly enjoy going to this show every year and this year was no different. Brian Potter and Bob Ashley put on yet another well organized event that was a lot of fun to be a part of. Saturday was PACKED! I think it was much busier this Saturday than it had been in previous years. I hardly had a chance to leave the table but didn't really want to either since I had a GREAT time talking to everyone who stopped by our tables!

Sales were awesome for us on Saturday. The auction was Saturday night and Brian Potter and Kevin McCurley put on a great show as always, not to mention all the money that was raised for PIJAC! There were a ton of people hanging out late into the night in the hotel lobby too! Sunday slowed down a little but the attendance was still pretty good. I got a chance to take some photos on Sunday but really had a hard time getting away so I had Sean shuttling a few animals for me to our table so I could take pictures there so that worked out really well.

There were some really cool animals at the show but I really only had a chance to take photos of some of the new, HOT Ball Python morphs. As usual, NERD and BHB had some awesome animals on display. Some of the top secret stuff that Kevin and Kara had was just amazing! Let me just say the Inferno makes some combos that will leave you speechless!! AND, the PASSION that's there is just undeniable!

All in all, we had a great time and it was really nice to see everyone!

Enjoy the photos!

Here are a few teaser pictures. Click on the link at the bottom of the page to see all the photos...

Thanks,
Celia

AMAZING! Did you purchase the Bananna, or just showing lots of pics? Was the Pastel and Clown Bananna for sale? How much if they were? That looked like alot of fun! I wish I could go lol!

Banana but it's just a little out of my price range at this time LOL! The Banana project animals were at Doug Matuzak's table and are Will Slough's animals. I believe the regular Banana was priced at $75,000 and I don't think the designer Bananas were for sale...but maybe they were for the right price...

Your photography skills are something to be envied.
The photos are perfectly crisp and clear.

Some of those new Ball combos leave a person ridiculously speechless...

Ironic that NERD's PurplePassions' patterns are laced with question marks?...hmmm....e-v-i-l

Thanks for sharing allllll of the photos.
I'm sure I'm not the only person who looks forward to YOUR show/expo photo posts.

I really appreciate all the very nice compliments and comments on the photos! Every year at both Daytona and Tinley, I honestly don't feel up to doing photos because everything is so hectic. If we didn't have tables to setup and watch and tear down at the end, then it would be a no brainer and I'd probably take ten times as many photos! However, with all that stuff, it makes it really tough. I don't want to leave our tables because I want to be there to meet/greet people but if I don't, then I won't have the chance to take any photos.

Anyways, it's just a lot of work but when I see how much everyone enjoys looking at the photos, it makes it all worth while! I'm glad everyone enjoyed the pictures!!

Thanks,
Celia

Celia,
Even when I am at a show that you are going to be at and have already seen all of the new morphs, I still look forward to your pictures of them. Your show pictures have their own folder (EBN Show Picts.) in my Favorites. Currently it includes Daytona 2004, 2005, 2006, 2007, Tinley 2006, and 2007. You guys need to do more shows so I can see more of your pictures. LOL
