I had a ball python that laid fertile eggs producing healthy babies and she has not been with a male for at least several years. This happen to anyone else?

There have been a few post on here about that. Do you still have the babies?

Sperm storage is a fairly common phenomena among snakes. In general, the longer the period since the last mating, the lower the fertility rate. How many eggs were laid, and how many actually hatched?

She laid 8 eggs. All 8 looked good until week 6 then 3 went south. at week 8, 4 pipped and 3 successfully hatched which are small but doing fine. the other egg had a dead, malformed, baby inside. All three of the surviving animals are female.
