Albino Female not eating...

bmills May 22, 2003 11:53 AM

How lon g should I wait to take my leo to a vet if she doesn't eat? She still has a plump tail and is still active. I put in some meal worms and she ate one of them, but that was it. She hasn't eaten any crickets for awhile. I was wondering how long I should wait before I take her to a vet, or if I should take her at all since her tail is still very plump and she is still active. Please help and if you have any advice on how to get her to eat it would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

If she stops being active and her tail starts to thin out take her. ALSO if she passes a "funny" looking fecal take her immediatly. this could mean she has a parasites or a bacterial infection which would explain for the not eating. Its probably nothing you could try a different food too geckos like variety as much as humans do. Good luck.

Can you describe funny looking fecal? Just want to be sure she doesn't have parasites.
