I know I've heard that reptiles don't have feelings, but I was wondering, are kingsnakes able to recognize people? I say that because I had a situation once when my friend was over. My kingsnake was on the floor and my friend kept poking the snake in a scary way. The snake became nervous and curled up, rattled her tail, and striked at my friend. I was on the opposite side, and when I got nearer to my snake, it didn't do anything, but it calmed down. Then when my friend approached the snake, it tried to strike at her again. But then when I tried to pick her up she didn't show any aggression towards me, only my friend. (I bought her as a newborn, I had her for 6 months now. I am the ONLY one that handles her; everyone is else scared of her.)
