aww shes too cute! she looks somewhat like my normal, with those weird face looking patterns on the sides.
I have a girl that resembles that one. They could be twins almost. On yours, do the parts that show-up as black in the pic actually appear as a lighter brown? I can't get a pic that shows the "true" colors of mine.
Naa, she's rich velvety black.

She, too, is destined for a date with a Pastel Jungle male. There is no black on the first 2/3s of her body, just the blushing brown, then where the spots start and turn into the solid stipe, she is jet black.

I am not a photographer. I've never even taken a photography class.
I just go by what I see in pictures as a lay person.
As a lay person, I think that the back drop you used in your photo has a potential to be a Stunning back drop
. I like the patterns of the fabric. It is very classy, and would have gone really well to accentuate the beauty of your snakey, IFF it were a different color. The brown of the fabric is too closely resembles the color of the snakey. (this is just my never to be humble opinion which is worth about two cents)
The only thing that could make the backdrop even better is if the colors were different. If you used, say some light(none-brown) colors , it would bring out the beauty of your subject even more.
Maybe some females can chime in and use your feminine sensibilities to suggest some better contrasting colors for that back drop. I am a male, and my color matching skills are limited. (I was thinking maybe a light and tasteful off white and grey for the back drop? or even spring Green or light yellow? How about sky blue with cloud whites?).
Females and sensible/sensitive males, please chime in!
