look who it is lol things might be getting better and i might be back on here as a full time member but BOB PLEASE PLEASE stop calling me at all hours of the night crying to me it was cool the first week or so but man it has to stop lol. now not in any particular order narbc pics and my NEW SNAKES!!! and awhile ago i said i had a tiny secret well yeah my and bryan have been talking and i did a trade and some cash and picked up a few rainbows for me and 2 friends once again congrats aubrey on the abby rainbow to bad i missed ya maybe next year thanks BHH for the snakes and teachin me how to feel for BB's lol even tho i need mroe work on it i know what to feel for and how to do it and if any1 is looking for a ball BHB great guy fast replies good price and awesome animals

i actually had alot more pics but in the proccess of makeing the thread i used the wrong tag line form photo bucket lol so i had to redo and downsize pics lol and no i was gone due to personal problems came up on some very very very hard times but things look like they might be turnigng around i will know 100% sure around november but as of nw i will be for sure a random in and out on the forum lol nto every day but not a few weeks

thanks there was so much cool stuff there the first day i literaly spent running around paying ppl money doing trades checking into hotle etc didnt have much time for myself took alot of pics sunday there was alot of thigns gone tho but still alot of cool thigns left i tried to get boas and balls and retics etc didnt want pics of only balls lol not sure if you guys seen but i got a great pic of the anery rainbow

sounds familiar. Loved the post especially the retics, blood python was unbelievable, purple passion, pastel and axanthic were exceptional and also great pics btw

i seen the one about your hypo lol well if yoru talkin about the one with all the pics in it lol dont think i seen the new boa if i did i just over looked it a few thigns stuck out and a few were just posts i had alot of posts to go thru in one day lol no way im replyin to every1 of them lol but atleast im back up to date on whats goin on. and no if i went away again no more snakes tho 2 AP cages are in my near future. only reason i got so many snakes is cause trading was involved so more snakes went away also lol

I would like to know when someone purchases a $5,000 dollar snake is it as a pet or a breeder? I mean how many of the Balls are being sold as pets or just cycling to other breeders. Well that 75K Ball could buy that Viper lol, the car is crazy small inside I cant fit in one even though they look fairly large..

IMO, all the more expensive animals are going as breeders. Nobody is plunking down $5K for a pet unless they are rich or stupid!! (not necessarily mutually exclusive) I've bought several higher priced animals and yeah, I expect the prices to drop and IMO once they drop to a hobbyist level the market will open up. Many people that wouldn't spend $5K might spend half that. As the price drops the demand will go up and those that have the $5K purchased price animals will be in a position to capture some of that market.

Look at Hypo BRB, it's been around 4 - 5 K for a hypo and not that many are selling. I really believe it's about time for a price shift. And there are severel (many?) breeders (myself included) who are just about ready to start producing them. Once that happens there will be joe unknown breeder that will be selling them for less than anybody else. I have discussed this phenomenon with the bigger names and it seems to be a given. As the breedable animal base expands, the price goes down, as the price goes down, the demand goes up. Somewhere it will level off!!

Thanks for the input. And I agree since snake breeding is an open market you as a seller can pick and choose the prices for your snakes.

I hope next year will bring Het BRBs to the mainstream so in the following years I will be able to produce a Hypo, and Anery, I really want to see a Ghost BRB..

The Ball market to me is out of control and confuses the heck out of me as to why people are paying so much money for morphs that sometimes are hard to spot the differences. From a business standpoint its interesting and why it still hasn't blown out amazes me. That $75,000 snake really has me confused it only takes one person to buy it and well I think its ridiculous, no offense to the sellers but really come on... But I don't know the history so maybe it is indeed worth that price based off factors other then looks & rarity.

I am just babbling but hopefully I am making some sense, really Balls are the main topic of confusion to me other snake market prices are fine.

i understand the 75k ball lol the banana ball python is a very mysterious ball lol one of them not so many around things i think only 2 breeders have them and come on a purple and yellow and white snake non albino thing is hot lol if you could of seen them in person they glow

i buy all my snakes as pets no matter how much and if i get a pair of hets its to breed for the visual morph for myself to save money i offer up my snakes for sale specialy the morphs to my friends first who want a albino ball or whatever whatever but dont wanna pay the high high price so i knock some money off and sell it to them specialy since i know they wont breed it. but yeah i would spenk 5k on a pet lol heck i spent about 1k on my bird alone then another $500 for the cage then another few hundred for toys so i am already at 2k plus for a single pet that will never breed. snakes are no diff to me i love animals and docile pets if i like it enough i will pay more for it and the whole breeding thing is just a added bonus

lol rich i wish lol lots of savin pennies is more like it and there is a limit on how much i spend lol in better times 1k was fine but now lol my price range pre snake is about $200 a year lol but i try to save up for one or two nice thigns a year.

i actually didnt even get to the green trees enough for a quick pass when going pass other vendors and they were crouded all the time like bad same with the one place that had emerald tree boas. next year i think im just gonna go booth to booth taking pics lol no hop skip and jump for me

Nice to see you back here, and great pictures! I really liked the albino striped boa (RTB?), I've never seen one like that.

Too bad we never ran into each other there, maybe next time!

yeah that albino striped red tail was awesome i wish i was rich i would of came home with so many snakes cages rack herp stats this that the other lol and even a new truck to bring everythign home in lol. yeah sucks we didnt run into each other you might have been by bruce while i was still just getting there and payin people and picking up my stuff. always next year i did get a magnet tho lol from al baldago lol oh yeha i rock
