Excited

Well, I have been trying to get this girl to breed for the last 3-4 years with no luck... She is a 1800 gram, unproven Axanthic that I really believe will prove out. I have her with a 100 % Pied here, he has been producing sperm plugs and pounced on her! She hasnt ovulated in the past, but this year she has been showing better signs that she might go. In addition to gaining some weight over the summer, she went off feed right away when the colder weather hit and she has been gravitating to the cold side of the tub. Other years she seemed oblivious to everything except food and her hide.... We will see.

The last photo is of her 3 years ago with a normal looking snake and on a dark background for comparison. She seems a little dark currently, maybe she has a shed on the way...

Who said Sk - not me? She doesnt have one speck of yellow on her and I mean none... Only time will tell I guess. I think she is worth the try anyhow and I usually dont waste time believe me.

why dont u just breed her to a het axanthic?

How would I know what line to breed her to? The current Axanthic lines that are out there are not compatable with each other. At least not all of them - I thought none of them?

It will only be a year or two at the most before I could breed her son back..

Also, this way they also would have a chance to be Axanthic & poss. het Pied too.
