I have a colony of Blaptica Dubia, though I don't think they are the fastest breeders or growers. It takes a while to get a colony established but once they are breeding well enough I don't think it really matters how fast the breed or grow, as it should be self sustaining by the time you start feeding from it.

Check the arachnoboards.com forums for plenty of info on roach feeders as well as sources for buying them in their for sale forum.

I've heard that Blatta Lateralis grow faster and are non-climbers, but they are smaller and the roaches themselves are a lot faster moving. B.dubia are nice and slow and grow pretty big, like 2-3 inches.

Thanks it seems most prefer the type you have as read even some finicky tarantulas prefer them as more meat than most but not the fastest breeders.
I think going to go with them as waiting few months isnt big deal . Will go read the posts in forum you gave me .

Thanks

Turkistan roaches are the common name for B. Lateralis. They're about the same size as lobster roaches, but can not climb smooth surfaces. B. Lateralis roaches are egg case layers and breed very fast. They also don't live as long as most of the bigger roaches..9 months to a year tops. B. Dubia are slower breeders, bigger in size and have live babies...no egg cases. They also live longer...a year to 1.5 years is normal for the females. They are also known as orange spot roaches (not orange head, those are different).
