I'd say depending on the price you paid, you got yourself a deal on that Jungle.. IMO, that's a Jungle.. Floating circles within the saddles, white outlining on the saddles (would be black on non albino), jungle head stripe (the needle with the "eye" and purdy good color.. Congrats and good luck with her!

TimS Oct 18, 2007 09:49 PM

thanks yeah price was perfect lol i was supposed to be getting a diff albino but things happened and this was a last minute change we decided on well Jeremy Me and My girl lol i hope her tude calms down i really think it had alot to do with the ship but holy crap can you say devil snake once out the bag lol. ill try to get better pics once she settles in her colors are alot lighter in person she has a very smooth cream look to her if that makes any sence to you lol

NCBoas Oct 18, 2007 10:57 PM

Yeah, most snakes from bigger breeders have an attitude!lol They don't get much 1 on 1 time, so it's expected.

TimS Oct 18, 2007 11:05 PM

yeah i have got llucky int he past i try to make it clear i want tame cause 1 they will be my pets and i feel tame parents bred together will make tamer babies and for the people out there like me who want a pretty pet not a breeder want a tame animal tho i shoul dbe using "docile" lol we will see i think alot had to do with the shipping

JasonGonzalez Oct 18, 2007 11:16 PM

If her attitude gets too out of control, I'd be happy to take her off your hands.

Nice Jungle.

there are soooo many varying degrees of "Jungle-ism"...lol new word. Albinos are certainly the hardest to see it in. IMO, not a jungle. Beautiful albino you have there!

ism lol i like it almost like some people in the ball world useing the word ish pastel ish color lol anywhos thanks for the input i did not order her as a poss jungle but things came up and she was put in place of what i was supposed to get and was just currious about her since i know squat about jungles lol

It is such a tough guess with some Albinos because the black isn't there to help your decision. I've got the same issue with a female Albino from a Jungle litter. I'm not trying to bogart your thread, but just showing another "possible Jungle" Albino to show how difficult it is. I'll never know until she breeds. I will say though that her tail has stayed more colorful than my other (non Jungle)Albinos.

why cant all jungle be very abberent lol make things so much easier

NCBoas Oct 19, 2007 02:53 PM

Because if they were ALL abberant, you wouldn't have had the chance of getting that possible albino jungle!! Sucks for the seller but can be a lucky find for the buyer

TimS Oct 19, 2007 05:00 PM

lol true lol but atleast in this case if it is jungle for sure it came to the perfect owner since i care more about pets that breed every so often then having strict breeders as snakes

Should there be any black lining in salmon-jungles. I have one female salmon jungle and one salmon female from the same clutch and non of them has the black lining.(Of course not the salmon female but their saddles looks the same. The colors are different thou.

I also have two possible femal jungles with the yellow jungle coloration, and the floating circles but not the black lining (these females are adults). Is it a marker that always is present? Or does it fade some when they get older?

I also have a male jungle from the same clutch as the salmonjungle and salmon females above, and he has distinct black lining around the saddles. And you se quite clearly that he is a jungle, without abberant pattern thou.

The picture is of a possible jungle male that I hope to breed this winter. (Can´t trace his origin unfortunatly)

post your reasons for thinking so i need to know all tell tale signs for jungle besides abberent pattern and good to hear thus far i think it is 3 or so yes jungle to 1 no jungle lol

bcijoe Oct 19, 2007 07:23 PM

looking at yours,
I see the symetrical circles in lots of the saddles...
I would want these to be more stark in contrast, but the fact that they are so symetrical is a bit of a hint.

the last 3 saddles where the tail starts are more square, with the 4 corners pointing out a bit.. almost like those square looking chinese throwing stars, if you know what I mean...
that's another hint.

the red tail blotches seem very bright, another hint.

the outline bordering the tail blotches are quicte bold in contrast, very distinct and bold... another hint.

The white spot on the red tail saddle is very clean and bright white... another little hint.

Some of the saddles are a bit aberrant, not perfect... another little hint. Not exactly a solid indicator, but a possible indication... this is what I mean by 'a hint'.

Some of the saddles seem peaked a bit, which i've seen a bit in jungle litters. i've also seen this in the non-jungle offspring from those litters. So that could go either way.

Here's a low expression jungle I produced which looks a bit like your albino, in my opinion. Similar markers, which would look a bit different on an albino.
This IS a jungle, swedish line, guaranteed.

So, I have reasons to beleive yours is, although that is no guarantee.

Thanks, Joe
