that looks like the typical copper from around here...mine is hypo, so take away all the darkness to it...there is a pic of mine on shhs, photo section, under the morph section...or if you have a myspace page, myspace.com/canebrakecowboy is my url...pics don't truely do it justic....he is light pink back ground with dark pink bands....
Yeah, I know some things are hard to photograph. I think I'm just really not even impressed with hypomelanism in copperheads. I actually used to own the hypo group that Mike Jolliff had a couple years ago, and I sold them because they just bored me after a few weeks. You say my male is how most coppers look in SC? That's the first I've heard that. I've never seen another one like him, male or female. I'll without a doubt take him over the hypos. You do have some really nice animals though. The albino canebrakes are awesome.
Forgot, here's my female. Pretty sure she's an intergrade, but I like her coloration a lot anyway.
