I went to hamburg a while back. They had something called dumbo rats. They looked no different than other rats, as far as I could tell. However, they cost $15 each!

I was just curious what the deal with them is. what the heck is a dumbo rat and why would they cost $15?

Just curious, is all.

Dumbos have slightly bigger ears that set lower on the sides of their heads. In my experience dumbos are also mellower. Some argue this isn't so but I have never met a mean dumbo. They look doopy and they act a little doopy too. Here are some of mine. I have hairless dumbo and blues.
