cyclura eggs

Has anyone ever cut open an egg before hatching? I have 4 good eggs one has already dimpled and hatched the other three are very full and have not started dimpling yet and I will be 85 days into incubation in two days.
My girlfriend breeds ball pythons and will cut an egg open if it hasn't started dimpling and it has been the proper amount of time in the incubater. She does this because she believes the snake can drown. She says it's a little more involved then that, but that's what I'm going to tell you guys.
want to cut my eggs open, but maybe it's the best thing to do. If anyone could help me with this I would greatly appreciate it.

Don't slit the egg, it doesnt seem to work the same as it does with snakes. Just be patient, it could take days for the others to hatch. I think with lizard eggs, it's best to wait until their is no question its dead and then have at it. KB

Thanks! I'll leave them alone. Hopefully the rest will hatch soon.
