You have a LOT of talent. That said, PERSONALLY, I think the very bold upper coloration draws MY eyes away from the subject of the artwork. It almost seems like a different color combo may have worked better, possibly just not such an abberant combo....I really don't know, I'm not an art critic, and even though I'm looking at it, I couldn't say what color combo I think would be any better(if it would even matter). Some how it just didn't "flow" for ME. Well, like I said, you have a TON of talent and I'm not trying to be a tool, just trying to give my honest feedback. And in the art world, my opinion probably isn't worth the "paper" this reply is written on!!! Take care

Nobody likes a critic huh? I had to look at it a lot to figure out the red and black was running together with the lavender part of the snake, but then the down "tab" of scales didn't look right, and the "tab" out of the bottom part of the lavender section didn't seem to fit either. Next time I'll just say...Awesome!

Thanks so much for the compliment. I have sold a good number of pieces over the years. This one will be on the block, just have to get it scanned so I can have something to remember it by (lol)
