Humid Hide Question

Alanna Oct 21, 2007 07:50 AM

My Leo will only go into her Humid hide when sleeping. I have a normal hide in there and plenty of hiding places for her to relax in but when she wants to rest during the day she prefers her humid hide. Is this unusual or nothing to worry about. She is eating each day and seems relaxed at night when she is out of the Humid hide. Her shedding is not an issue and the temps are good. Am i concerned over nothing as its suggested in many books to give her 2 hides. Problem (or not) is she prefers the humid hide and i have not seen her use her ''normal'' hide in weeks. (the humid hide is lined with paper towels)

Nothing to worry about... that´s completely normal behavior...
Some of my geckos prefer to sleep in their humid hide, others in their hollow log and just a few outside laying on the floor...

That's exactly why more than one hide is provided- to give them a choice. You are doing a good job. Nothing to worry about.
