You don't want to get anything too small, because it is going to get bigger, and you'll end up having to spend more money. I keep my baby jackson's in a screen cage 2ft by 2ft, that I built myself, and he has plenty of room to climb around. Just ask the people at the show what they would reccomend.
Good luck!
What some people do is get a relatively inexpensive Reptarium as a temporary cage until the cham reaches subadult size. You don't want a really tiny cage as you will need to provide a range of temps and humidity, and have a nice bushy live plant for cage structure. People are always concerned that the baby find food in the setup. You can feed the cham out of a plastic box nestled in the foliage with shooting perches arranged over the top. How young will the cham be? Anything younger than a month or so will be a challenge unless you've cared for chams before.
