what determines year of snake?

pheonix Oct 21, 2007 08:06 PM

i swear i have tried to find an answer to this question but have been unable to do so...so i come to the ball gods on here for an answer...lol

When you have say a 06' male....does the year represent the actual hatch date just like our birthdays are the year we're born? versus say what breeding year it was? from what i've read the breeding season is in the fall/winter months (yes?)...so a clutch could be bred at the end of 05' but actually hatched in 06'....maybe i'm just thinking about it too hard, but i wanted to be sure....lol....thanks!
