mouth rot (i think)

please can anyone help me, i have a very young greek tortoise that is very sickly, he has a soft shell and has somthing up with his mouth, he cant seem to close his mouth all the way. it almost looks like the one side of this jaw is out of place, but everyone told the symptoms sound like mouth rot( him not closing his mouth and rudding at it with his feet like their is somthing in it) please help. he is wasting away! he needs help

Are these the same signs/symptons and the same tort that you posted on this forum on Oct 12th? (see below on the forum)
If so I would highly recommend a vet at this point.

I would first give your Tortoise some UV light and see a good vet. His shell should NOT be soft. If his shell is soft then his bones will be soft (Read not rigid and will distort when in use).

You have a very sick Tortoise.

What temperature are you keeping him at?
Does he have any UVB lighting?
Does he have calcium added to his diet?
What sort of food are you feeding your Tortoise on?

Also what color is his mouth - If it is light color (light yellow, orange or white) or if he has sores in his mouth then you have a good chance to have mouth rot and will need to see your vet.
