I feel a little dumb, but I can't figure out how to post a pic???? I have a snake that I rescued, that I think is a cinny, but I would like some other opinions. Man I suck at using the puter! (usually theres a "browse" option, but not here)

ey man,
there might be an easier way but...
>go to photos
>go to upload photos
>load the ones you want (you can do multiple)
>these are now in "your photos"
>go back to forum
>go to post new message
>under your message there's an option to include a link (can put your photos here if you have them on another site)
>under that there's a box just above "post message" with the photos you uploaded in
>highlight the required photo (s)
>"post messsage"
good luck to the refugee ball
willzy

You must first upload the photo to the internet. If you don't have a website or some kind of account (like AOL or photobucket) that allows you to upload photos to the web you can register for Kingsnakes Photo Gallery (Photo tab at the top of the screen).
Once you've gotten the picture uploaded you can put it in your message three ways:
Right click the image and get the properties - you'll want to copy the "location" "address" or URL (they are all the same thing but different browsers call them different things).
1. Type or paste the URL between [ img ] [/img ] (take out all the spaces). By using this method you can post as many pictures as you'd like in the same post.
2. Type in or paste the URL where it says "Image URL" at the bottom of the message screen. This method tho easy limits you to one picture.
3. If you use Kingsnakes photo gallery - you can select it from a drop down menu of the photos you have in the gallery (found on the message window). By holding down the CTRL key, you can select up to three photos.
Good luck!

Just go to photobucket.com and get the free 10mb account. That way you don't have to worry about image size, and you can just copy paste the link(img code).

hows this?

ok, now that the pic is there....anyone have an opinion on whether this is a cinny??????
Which one? Neither look like cinny's to me but a better pic may help.

ya, need a better pic I guess. The one that is not showing as much is way darker, and has no yellow at all. I'll try to get a clearer, more color accurate pic.

Neither of them look anything like cinnies. I like the light one though.

So why such a drastic color difference? Is it something that occurs often? (really, the light one is pretty normal looking, compared to my other ones. Its just the lighting of the pic, which I guess illustrates how dark the other one really is)
Thanks all for the responses. This really is a great forum! Lots of knowledge to be shared.

Normals vary a LOT in color and pattern -- not every little thing is genetic. Here are a few pics of some very different normals that I have so you can see how much variance there can be -- none of these animals are a morph:

Cinnamon ball pythons are very noticably different and all of them have the same traits:

Wow, thanks Jen!!! awesome info! Even though I have been keeping snakes for a while, all the morphs and breeding stuff is pretty new to me! (Used to dealing with problems more than healthy snakes! I do rescues)
Thanks again for your time and the great info!
