San Diegans!

Hey, anyone in San Diego, if you haven't looked already, watch the news!

There's fires all over San Diego right now. I'm okay, I found a place, if anyone else has found safe haven please check in? I know Dave, Emberball, is down here, but I can't remember who else. Let us know you're alright! It's scary out there.

Unfortunately I can't offer a place for anyone's animals, but I'm willing to help look if anyone needs help looking for places to house their snakes if they can't keep them while evacuating.

The radio says Craigslist.org is posting on the "free stuff" page people who are willing to take others in and help them, so maybe you can find someone to help there as well.

Stay safe, everyone! Keep in touch. It's crazy out there!

Yeah, it is VERY bad down here right now! I am up in Temecula, and for now, we are fine, but that can change with a change in wind direction, or some dumbass throwing a cigg butt out the window.

It looks like anyone who has evacuated in San Diego, and is looking for hotels, I would try Temecula, Murietta, ETC.

I have a large amount of dirt and dust and ash on my truck, and my pool is a dust magnet, but other than that, we are good. If you do not know, the big problem is the Santa Ana Winds, blowing up to 80 mph in places, which blows dust everywhere, and fuels the fires.

I hope eveyone else is good, I talked to Glenn Polonco today, and he is fine too. Tom Baker, Camlon gals, Chad, Heather, Jon from Jons Jungle, hope all is well with you guys/gals, and with everyone else down here.

It is REALLY bad, the worst I have seen it ever, and it was plenty bad in 2003!

I am about 15 miles away from the Ontario Fire, and we drove by the Irvine fire when we went to visit Tom and Bryce this weekend.

I have pics... (Irvine Fire while we were driving by)

My wife made it home in JUST 6 hours, from work today! It usually takes her about 60 minutes. The 15 was closed, the 76 was closed...it is pretty bad, but we have it good compared to those who are losing their houses.

I got a call from a friend of mine who runs a reptile rescue out in Riverside and from what she said the local animal shelters are taking in evacuated small pets but aren't set up to take in reptiles so they aren't accepting them.

We are about 8 miles down wind from the Irvine fire - it's really smoky here but safe - the fire would have to burn down most of Irvine and half of Newport to reach us! If anyone needs someplace to evacuate their snakes to I'll certainly do my best to help out.

For those of you in the middle of it - you'll be in my prayers - stay safe!
