the Pastel Super Black Pastel?? Has one of these even been produced.....or at least made public??
Thanks for your replies!!!!!!
Brian
A pastel super cinnamon is a silver streak. Maybe a pastel super black pastel would be a black silver streak, since a Pewter is a pastel cinnamon and a black pewter is a pastel black pastel.
Hope this helps,
Randy

An animal that is a Super Cinnamon Pastel that also displays Pastel Jungle is considered to be a SILVER BULLET
An animal that is a Super Pastel Jungle that also displays Cinnamon Pastel is considered to be a STERLING
An animal that is a Super Pastel Jungle that also displays Black Pastel is considered to be a SILVER STREAK
An animal that is a Pastel Jungle that also displays Black Pastel is considered to be a BLACK PEWTER
An animal that is a Pastel Jungle that also displays Cinnamon Pastel is considered to be a PEWTER
An animal that is a Super Black Pastel that also displays Pastel Jungle is considered to be a "BLACK SILVER BULLET"?!? Try to get Ian G. on the phone. I'm sure if one was produced he probably hit it first. He probably just called it a Black Silver Bullet but you never know if Ian was feeling creative.
No one has produced a Super Pastel Jungle Super Cinnamon Pastel nor a Super Pastel Jungle Super Black Pastel as of yet... unless I fell asleep at the wheel again and missed it completely. Look to Greg Graziani, Mark Mandic or that Ian guy whose last name I can't spell, more than likely the SUPER SUPER will hatch there first!! Or maybe not...
Take care...

why would Ian be the first to hit it, his line of black pastels originated with Gulf Coast Reptiles? Sorry I just get tired of him getting credit for producing them when he purchased/traded for them from GCR.

... credit away from Chris for any production that he may have had. If he didn't publically claim that the animals were produced and then sold/traded them to someone that did then it would be unclear to us all who produced the mutation first.
Also, please know that there were several other lines of "Black Pastel" that didn't come from Gulf Coast Reptiles. Some of these animals were in other collections years before Ian bought the group of Black Pastels from Chris in Daytona in 2002 when Chris "unveiled" the Super Black Pastels. To say that the Black Pastel is proprietary to Gulf Coast's bloodline is incorrect.

I asked Ian about this. He sold off the "Labyrinth balls that Chris sold to him as they produced defects, and deformities.
Ian's line is his line, and according to the majority, the very best around. He named them Black Pastels, a name that was taken by others .
Not trying to take credit away from Gulf Coast, but making sure Ian gets the credit he truly deserves.
After all he is in a class by himself!

Per Kevin McCurley's book, "The Complete Ball Python", a pastel super cinnamon is a Silver Streak. A super pastel super cinnamon is a Silver Bullet.
I don't know if anyone has done this with a black pastel, that is why I went with the theme of a black pewter coming from the black pastel and called it a black silver streak.
Please note that I am not naming anything as I have not produced this animal.

The Complete Ball Python had a few errors in it when it came to the genetic make-up to some of the morphs, something that will be corrected in the follow-up edition.
Check this site link for the description of the first Silver Bullet ever produced...

Also refer to the VPI Book, on page 58 at the bottom of the Cinnamon Pastel definition.
It seems that the confusion is creating more confusion!
