BRBS ON FIRE!!! Dialup Warning

Jeff Clark Oct 23, 2007 12:11 AM

I like BRBs that look like bright orange flames. Since I started collecting Brazilian Rainbow Boas I have concentrated on the orange ones with bright neon looking crescents on the sides. I have passed up and culled a bunch of red ones out of my collection over the years. The problem with orange BRBs is that when they are born they are very light colored. Many of them take until after the second shed before they finally get really colorful. All of these PICs are snakes are 48 to 68 days old and have shed two or more times. The PICs include 44F from my 8/5 Jari litter, 52M, 58M, 61M, 62F, and 65M from my 8/30 Ria litter and 71M, 73M, 82M, and 99F from my 9/3 Borba litter. My 10/05 Caat99F4 and 10/10 Fiona litters are 13 to 18 days old and are not nearly as colorful after their first shed as these older snakes are.

They are some great looking snakes. Would you post a picture of some of the parents so we can see what they might turn out looking like?
Thanks,
Rob

Jasmine - you are lucky that I hesitated on 52m. I really have no use for another male right now, but was thinking of getting it to maybe replace one of my males over the long term.

I am glad that you got him, and I hope he develops really into a really nice adult.
