housing leos in together in large enclos

cee4 Oct 23, 2007 08:17 AM

Anyone do this?
Just curious, I have two at the moment housed in a 4x2x14 vision cage, thats 8sq ft of floorspace.I know its overkill but its all I had available at the time.I now have a second vision cage the same size and am thinking of getting a trio of leos to put in there.Ive tried to think of a way to make dividers but just cant seem to come up with anything that works.Ive used cardboard and they either push through it or climb over it.
Ive read that groups of leos can work if the cage is big enough so are these cages big enough?

8 square feet is plenty for even 4 geckos.
Just make sure there is only 1 male in the enclosure,
at least 1 hiding space(caves) for each gecko and a humid hide.
As long as there is ample food, they will do fine.
