Felt so bad when I did it, but Axe fell on the floor laughing! poor little imports!

OMG, I knocked one of the babies for a loop tonight at cricket time!

We like to use feeding tubs, but these little guys have gone through so much, we gave in and are feeding them 10am , 2:30pm and 6pm their crickets in their outside reptariums, then they come in for the night to heat lamps for 2 hours.

We had them inside and I was just zipping them up when I saw a cricket climbing the side of the tank, so I flicked it with my finger at the same time a baby came running from the side wall for it and although I did not flick him, he went flying through the air feet over head rolls, from the "trampoline effect" of the mesh and landed on the mesh/papertoweled floor feet first... I was so shocked my mouth was hanging open!

The baby hit the floor running and caught his flying cricket, turned around and looked at me like "what the heck was that for mom, I'm only eating MY cricket" !!! I felt so terrible!

I was still in shock saying OMG, I'm sorry, I'm sorry and Axe was honestly on the floor in the lanai, rolled up in a ball laughing so hard he was crying and pulled a muscle in his back!

Just kidding,,,
If it makes you feel any better,,,

One night I was poo scooping and gathering the food dishes and I dumped one of the babies bowls and went about my business. Well, the next bowl I went to dump, I saw something move in the trash can!!!! It was a baby!!! I nearly threw out a baby dragon. I couldn't believe it, I was almost a murderer.

The things these guys have to go through for just trying to be a happy little dragon. lol

Later.

How are all the babies doing???

You might have posted about it before - but I haven't been online much since I got home to Sweden. I had soooo much to organize when I got back. Now everything is back to "normal" and I can spend more time online.

It was SO nice to meet you in Daytona! Say hi to the babies from me!

They have really plumped up since you saw them and are very active (one even flies now , see other post of I felt bad)

Thanks for helping with them those first few days.. it was hectic!!

I had posted individual pictures of several of them back about 7 pages, but here are some recent ones

A group of them coming out of their bath

Then one of the nice pattern ones
