I have a WC female for the past 10 months or so. It did not eat for me once after numerous attempts. I got a few tips from Ron, so I went out and got everything I needed. I let her relax for about a week then I toss her a rat and she took it within minutes. Thanks again Ron.
out of curiosity why does the substrate look so wet

It's cypress mulch pretty fresh out of the bag. Kept in a rubbermaid tote with very few holes. So the humidity stays up in there.
