Sorry, "Imperator" I keep them and talk with others all the time and get stuck in the acronym rut but then again, we all know what BRB really stands for, not the silly "IM" acronym that's popped up!!!
I'm in the SF bay area, 300 miles away from the fires in "socal". So no real concern here. My wife and I were just discussing that subject yesterday. Fortunately we're several blocks away from any open areas with natural vegetation so no real fire danger. More have to worry about "the big one" and how many might escape. I would think many of the babies might get their drawers shook open. I think most of the cages would be OK, even if they got tipped over. Most have plastic doors.
I do dread the thought of having to evacuating the collection, how to get them all out and how to care for them in a new setting. Lots of bags and tubs I guess!!
