If you liked the other sunglows.........

sdi Oct 25, 2007 08:34 AM

look at these.

I tried,...I tried,....I tried to get this one. This is the best sunglow I have ever seen in person. I know of two or three others out there that are in the same category as this one. What I like about this one is the majority of the color is pink as apposed to orange.

By the way, this is the albino I used to illustrate the contrast between littermates. This is a killer albino!

This sunglow came in a close second to the one above. This one does not have as much over all color. However, if you look closely you should be able to see the lavender/purple color on the front 1/3 of the body. Purple!

Honorable mentions in no particular order.

How could you even pick between these? I would be happy with anything from this litter. I wonder if Tim will let me move in?

I am sharing photos of these so you guys can enjoy them as much as I do.

Enjoy!

How do you get to the one with the white outlined saddles?
Is there some super jungle in there?
I love them all, of course.
For some reason none of the other herp stuff is as important as the Boa constictors are to me anymore.

One beautiful Bcc. The one that got me hooked on Boa constrictors, 1968.

No jungle genes in any of these boas. The one with the outlined saddles is an albino. The rest are sunglows from a hypo het albino bred to an albino. However, these are not your average boas.

I love that photo you posted. Very cool!

Those are the nicest Sunglows I have ever seen. I really like high base colored Sunglows but the last one, the high contrast is my favorite.

The best sunglows in one spot!!! Wow even that albino rocks! I love the look of the purple sunglows but that high contrast yellow one at the end is where its at!

Can you please give some info on the pedigree of these animals?

Thanks so much for sharing!!!!

I am not 100% sure of the lineage. I know somewhere along the line the Chicago House of reptiles and the guy who produced the paradox sunglows (Damien???) where involved but I can't tell you when or how. Sorry I couldn't give full credit but I am sure Tim can clear things up. What I can say is that if you saw the parents you would not believe they produced this litter. I saw al but one or two of the litter. Every one of them has the potential to produce killer stuff. If you want Tim's contact info send me an email.

I lucked out and managed to get the super coral female with the whitish face. She might be more orange but the corals are crazy (that isn't even the best pic of her!) She has a future date with my male blood boa. These are by far the best sunglows I have seen out there, actually the albinos almost look like sunglows! Obviously I am super happy!

Congratulations! Then she must look familiar to you.

The one you got is beautiful. I really wanted her but she was sold by the time I came into the picture. As I posted on another forum, there is no way to classify one as better than another because they are all top of the line and have such different looks. All the color aside, she has great body composition as well. I hope she makes a great breeder for you. Especially if you are breeding her to a blood boa. What a great project.

There are more photos of her at my picturetrail account:

I may have some additional photos that I did not upload. Let me know if you would like me to email them to you.

... some really awesome sunglows and albinos! No wonder he's keeping them all! Thanks for posting.

Those are all amazing!!! Do ones of that coloration usually start out real pink as babies or are they somewhat the typical coloration of a sunglow and then explode after each shed? Nice Nice sunglows!!!

Apparently these were fairly average looking until they were about six months old. I couldn't tell you much more because these are not mine and I just saw them for the firs time a few weeks ago.
