Breeding Lineup 2008

waspinator421 Oct 25, 2007 08:10 PM

Here is my breeding lineup for the 2008 season. I can't take new pictures for you because they are all brumating right now, so these are old ones.

Indigo, my dark red male:

He will be paired up with Vermillion, a High Orange lady:

And he will also be paired up with Ethan's girl, Sapphire. This is a real old picture and she has grown quite a bit since this was taken. She's just a touch darker now too.

Here is my Yellow male, Flax.

He will be paired up with my awesome High Orange, Sable. I'm really looking forward to this pairing!

Hopefully the ladies will produce some cute little slimeballs next summer!!

Don't worry, I haven't forgotten about your #1 spot! If Sable produces, it will probably be a small litter. It will be her first year, and she is a little over 4 pounds. I'm sure her babies will be gone very quickly, good thing you are #1! (behind me, of course)

she has put on enough weight to try again tho i am gonna feed her more often thru the season while breeding still small items but just a tad more often but i am also running a late year for everythign since our lovely WI weather is so goofy lol i havent even dropped the temp one degree for any1 yet. probly wont till late november/december since i usualy start cooling october but only by a degree or so a week very very slow cooling but nope now im waiting to warm still to even think abotu starting for me

waspinator421 Oct 26, 2007 12:55 PM

Is it really that much warmer over in Milwaukee? I started brumating in the beginning of October, so it has been almost a month now. The temps in my snake room have been hovering around 60F pretty well. Perhaps the lake is keeping you warmer?

right now we are at the whole 40-60 night temps and 66 usual day temps or so but get alot of random 70-80 days still every so often so i want them to go away first. plus i want my girls to get a few more pounds first.

Thanks Bob, and yeah he was a little hefty in that picture. He wasn't feeling well for a bit this summer and lost some weight, but now he is back to 100% and looking fit! He may shed a few pounds with the ladies this season though!

These were a nice couple of posts Aubrey. I wanted to memntion that not only do you have a fantastic collection of BRBs but I really like how you are planninig your pairings. It looks like you are mating animals of like color. Best of luck to you. You should produce some really great snakes!
