Its that time of year again

I found this pair in about 5 minutes and saw several other individual snakes crawling around within about 75 to maybe 100 yards away from this pair.

What time of day did you see them? I am trying to plan the best time of day for my outings now that it's getting colder.

I saw these in the early afternoon, but the main reason
so many were moving was not so much the time of day as the conditions. a light rain storm came through,raising the humidity and dropping the temperature slightly.
