My male C. melanosterna

tgreb Oct 26, 2007 05:14 PM

This is one of my male Ctenosaura melanosterna I just imported from Europe. These animals are just absolutely beautiful. We imported 3 pairs and divided them between 3 friends. The female is a little skittish and I don't ant to stress her out but this guy is very friendly. Especially when I have food. Also got 9 2 month olds. Will post more photos later. Hope you enjoy.

Will any of the 9 month olds be available? thanks for any info Jeff

Hi Jeff

There are nine 2 month old animals not nine month old animals. We will get another group of animals in March or April. Then we will raise the animals to see what sex they are then probably sometime next fall there will probably be sexable animals available. I will keep posting updates.

nice comments. These are really great lizards and there are but a few people here in the US that have them. We have a very nice group of these guys and will be adding more in January. It will be 4 different bloodlines all the nice blues. Our hopes is to get a healthy population in the US so everyone can get these guys. They have different displays than other ctenos and are just really cool colorful animals. Of course there probably will not be that much interest as there has never really been with ctenos. I will post more pics soon.
Thanks again
Tom
